From the rich folklore of Pyrgi what is remarkable is the dance. It is a dance that expresses the bravery and charm, the dynamism and the vigor of citizens. Two men, who change (up to the time the musical instruments stop in order to play the next dance) and a woman, who remains in a lot of dances. The woman holds the one man from his elbow and the other with a cloth.   
An interpretation of this dance is that it portrays the very usual phenomenon of kidnapping of women. The first dancer is her kidnapper-groom and the second a friend who offers his help.
