Watch tower in “Dotia”

This tower is located in Dotia, a small settlement near Emporios. The Tower was constructed from Genouates. The whole production of gum (Mastiha) from the around villages was assembled there. The Tower had 3 floors and today is well preserved. In this region were found graves and very few relics. It was also found an epigraph to the Apollo Agreti (god-hunter), as Dotia is the best place for hunting in Chios.
