The Assumption of Virgin Mary is the biggest and most central church of village. According to an epigraph it has been built in 1694. Its wooden-engraved temple is remarkable. The exterior surface of the temple is covered with engravings. In the beginning of the century a part was added in the southern side of the temple. The western side is aligned with the exterior wall of western side of church. In the southern side of courtyard, few meters from its southwestern corner was built in 1930 the current belfry from domestic white hewer Stone that dominates with its proud height in the entire settlement. In the ground floor of the belfry is accomodated the temple of Saint Antonios, because not far from that point in the old days existed a small church dedicated in the memory of this Saint. The courtyard of church is adorned with statues of two eminent people, the Metropolite of “Germanos Theotokas” and the psychiatrist “Michael Gianniris”. In the southeastern corner of courtyard is located the “Agiasma”.
