Not far from the unique gate of the wall exists an imposing building that dominates among the other buildings. It is called the Triorofo (three-floored) building. It consists of three floors, the Litrouvio (olive press), the Didaktirio (school) with the cistern and the Church of Panaghia (Virgin Mary). These three buildings, that were built one above the other are indivisible in their exterior form. The first floor is the Litrouvio (olive press). In the Eastern part two apartments of 2nd floor constitute the School while in the western part exists the cistern (an enormous sink, from where citizens drank water in case of exclusion). In the 3rd floor lies the church, the most remarkable of all the buildings of Akropolis. The entire church is covered with old tiles that seen from above give the impression of two roofs.
The western side of the building has obviously sustained multiple destruction. In this side took place the secret sacrifice of the innocent in 1822. The floor tiled with plates in this point, due to his absorbent ability and as it was hot from the fire sucked the blood of heroes and preserved eternally a black coloration. The rest of the surface, was destroyed from the deterioration of time.
